Ministries/Areas to Serve

Genesis Fellowship

(“GF”) is an evangelistic ministry aimed to bridge the gap between those who are hungry for change, but not yet hungry for church. Through quarterly events, the group gathers to socialize and seeks to provide an open forum to address “heart matters” in an atmosphere that cultivates relationships and spiritual intimacy. GF’s aim is to assist with the challenge to change one’s behavior and to encourage the development of an appetite for spiritual growth.

God’s Kids

God’s Kids is New Vision Assembly’s children ministry. Children engage in civic and community events to expose them to opportunities to serve. Activities also include sleepovers, skating, and other external adventures that are designed to offer the children an outlet to enjoy ministry and themselves.

Jesus said:

Mark 10:14 Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God.15Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

The Children’s Ministries Department at New Vision Assembly is designed to reach children and to help them grow spiritually. We seek to lead children toward faith in Jesus Christ and guide them to serve Him through evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and worship. We act as partners with the parents in laying a foundation for our children’s futures by modeling and presenting the life of Christ.

We teach New Vision children to:
• Love Christ-Know Him
• Live for Christ- Life Application
• Lead Others to Christ-Evangelism

(LEADERSHIP TRAINING)

Healthy churches flow from healthy leaders. Critical to effective leadership are several strong characteristics:
A leader must have a vision to hear and obey His Word!
A leader must love the call and have a passion to perform God’s will.
A leader’s mental model should be that of a servant leader.
A leader’s core motivation should be to satisfy God

MANY ARE CALLED FEW ARE CHOSEN

Ephesians 6:14-20
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints — and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel for which I am an AMBASSADOR in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Message from President:

God’s  heartbeat  is  to  take  the Gospel to the nations and He calls ordinary people to this extraordinary  task!  He has left  His  Word  to be the  guide in achieving this goal.  The most difficult task  is  obtaining  the confidence in interpreting Scriptures and gaining the skills needed to communicate these truths to others.

Regency Christian College (“RCC”) has prepared students for  accomplishing  their  calling for over 10 years!  The  college   has   a   non-traditional  approach  for students  who  need  to  learn from home.  Students can earn their degree without disrupting their home life or  their  current  careers.   Additionally,  with respect to admission, RCC will take into  account  your  prior college training in order to accelerate your RCC program.

Now is  the time to focus your energy  and  your resources   on   preparing   yourself    for   ministry whether it be in the  area  of missions, the pulpit, music, home bible study groups, evangelism, counseling, church bible class, children  and  youth work,  church  administration,   hospital  or   prison chaplaincy, etc.   It is time to enter your calling with full preparation in the Scriptures!

Dr. Russell Kopp, President
