Frequently asked questions

What do we believe?

Founded in 2007, New Vision Assembly is non-denominational, multicultural church led by Senior Pastor, Terrance C. Bell. New Vision Assembly operates as a non-profit organization located in Jacksonville, Florida. New Vision Assembly’s charter is “Equipping the Saints for the work of the ministry.”

We believe that there is one sovereign God, eternally existing in three persons: the everlasting Father, His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, and the Holy Spirit, the giver of life. Each fully possesses equally all of the attributes of deity and the characteristics of personality. The God-head is perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, unbounded in power and measureless in love. All three have been eternally pre-existent and co-equals in power and authority.

Jesus died, was resurrected, serves as the propitiation for our sins and now sits at the right hand of the Father, as our intercessor. There is no greater love!

The church is His messenger.

Proverbs 29:18

When Are the Services?

9:45 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Sunday School, Saint Equipping Service

The mind of Christ is critical to our spiritual survival. Those of us who believe have come to know that traversing life without heavenly oversight is tantamount to choosing to live without the proper ammunition to guarantee our victory. At New Vision Assembly we aim to keep the Saints of God strategically trained for battle.

Saint Equipping Service is as an interactive forum to encourage dialogue to address what is currently impacting our lives landscapes. Members engage in a comprehensive study of the Word presented with careful attention to hermeneutics.

Ephesians 4: 11-16
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints and the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ; till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine. by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head -- Christ --from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

The time is NOW! We must know what we stand for in Christ. God's Word has been manipulated to the extent that as our Father has foretold, we are at the risk of the "very elect being deceived". New Vision Assembly maintains a posture of recognizing the need to ensure that those who are called are prepared to defend their beliefs. Apologetics (from the Greek απολογία, "speaking in defense") is the discipline of defending a position through the systematic use of reason.

Sound Bible doctrine has been clouded by the murky waters of our world view. Thorough study and apologetics are the mainstay of our spiritual core. The "Rightly Divide" Service challenges us all to leave the traditional confines of religious indoctrination in exchange for a systematic theology.Systematic theology is a discipline of Christian Theology. It seeks to formulate an orderly, rational, and coherent account of the Christian faith and beliefs.

Our God desires to be known in His fullness. He remains holy despite His trafficking through a sin-sick world, AND, He changes not. At New Vision we seek the

unadulterated truth of His Word, so that, we can one day present ourselves faultless before the throne of God!

2 Timothy 2:15

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Wednesday Night, Rightly Divide Service 7:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M.
